Community Partners and Sponsorship Opportunities 

 

Owing its roots to the Stonewall Collegiate Rams Football Team, the Interlake Thunder Football Club was established in 2011 and is a community based football club providing football for athletes ages 8 to 17 years from the Interlake region. With athletes from all corners of the Interlake including Moosehorn, Marquette, Fisher River as well as larger centres such as Selkirk, Stonewall and Gimli, the Interlake Thunder Football Club is represented throughout the entire Interlake region.

 

2024 will see our Club field 6 teams, including two teams in the Manitoba Girls Football Assiciation, three teams in the Manitoba Minor Football Association, and one team in the Rural Manitoba Football League. 

 

With that said, the Club is seeking community partners and sponsors for the 2024 season and beyond. Sponsorphips help to assist in offsetting Club operating costs, improving facilities and field infrastructure.  In exchange the sponsors generosity the Club is willing to provide the some or all of the following, depending on the level of the commitment, and the duration of the sponsorship;

 

• Company logo on all Club jerseys
• Company logo on all Club literature including recruitment posters
• Company logo prominently displayed on the the Club website
• Game day announcement at all Club home games
• Recognition at the annual Club banquet
• Option to have promotional table at all Club home games.
• Honorary coin toss at a home game
• Company sign for advertisment at our Stonewall Collegiate field

    

 

Any and all sponsorship is greatly appreciated and essential for our Club to continue to provide our athletes with quality equipment, and an excellent game day experience, while ensuring we can keep our fees to the athletes as low as possible.

History

 

The Interlake football club has grown over the years. The 2024 season promises to be a fantastic year for our Interlake Thunder. With one team in the Rural Manitoba Football League (RMFL) and three teams in the Manitoba Minor Football Associstion (MMFA).

 

Our players come from all over the Interlake area including Moosehorn, Stonewall, Gimli, Woodlands, Arborg, Fisher River, Selkirk and St. Laurent, just to name a few. Families from all over the Interlake area are involved and this presents the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of pur club history.

With the growth of the Interlake Thunder comes an opportunity for more community involvement.  Club sponsorship is a great way for your company or individuals to get involved in the community.  Sponsorship can be done on many levels of participation and is essential to help keep the cost of registration down and maintaining community participation for all.

 

Reaching Out

The Interlake Thunder has grown to be one of the largest football clubs in Manitoba thanks to your support. All funds raised stay with the club and are used to further ensure the kids are provided with some of the best equipment available. This ensures the kids have a safe and fun football experience. Thanks to the support of the local papers, the Interlake Thunder teams have achieved wide spread recognition throughout the area. Your continued support is very much appreciated.
