The Interlake Thunder Midget  football program provides athletes (Age 14-17) in the Interlake region with the opportunity to play tackle football. The team competes annually in the the 9-Man Rural Manitoba Football League (RMFL). The team plays an eight game regualar season, followed by league playoffs.

In the postseason the top 4 teams in the RMFL compete for the Doug Steeves Trophy while seeds 5 through 8 compete for the Murray Black Cup.

Training camp begins in mid August with the RMFL regular season commencing in September and championship games being played in November.
